Consulting Services
Is this you?
Everything feels urgent, all the time.
Your team acts prematurely or frequently moves in the wrong direction, and you’re not sure why.
You are the default problem-solver across the organization. Every question comes to you.
Your team thinks decisions feel arbitrary and are hard to predict.
There is uneven follow-through across the organization, dependent on individual personalities.
Then I likely have the solutions you need.
I partner with nonprofits to replace exhaustion with sustainability by redesigning how work gets done.
My Approach
I. Understand the Root Cause(s)
I start by listening. I get to know your current strategy, team culture, communication channels, organizational structure, implementation processes, and team buy-in, capacity and motivation. I use my Organizational Growth Navigator to uncover root causes and make misalignment visible.
II. Make Your Strategy More Concrete
We then focus on the organization’s strategic foundation. We understand internal strengths and weaknesses and external threats and opportunities. I work with leadership to ensure understanding across the full team of the organization’s direction. We think about strategy in the context of implementation and get specific.
III. Align Your Operating Model
Next is where the strategy comes to life for teams and individuals. We prune, prioritize, and plan. We align your operating model—including structures, processes, personnel, and culture—with your strategy. My goal is for each team member to know their role in the organization’s success and the plan to get there.
IV. Plan for Sustainability and Continuous Improvement
We finish by designing processes and systems that your team will actually use to monitor progress. We launch and test the new systems with your team, make adjustments, and establish routines. Most importantly, I support the team in using the new systems to ensure buy-in, sustainability, and success. We want the full team to know if the organization is on track to reach its goals.

- Katherine Hunt, Board Member, Maryland Coalition of Families
I help growing nonprofits design systems that work in real life, not just on paper. And while there is no one-size solution, here are a few ways I typically support:
Focus on what matters with annual impact areas: Bring focus and alignment to your team by turning your strategic plan into a handful of clear, shared priorities.
Bring rhythm to the chaos with an annual operating rhythm: Help your team be proactive, stay connected, and be accountable by establishing a predictable cadence for meetings with clearly defined purposes.
Clarify roles and free up your time with an accountability chart: Free yourself from being the hub of every conversation and allow your team to move faster with confidence by clarifying who owns what and how decisions get made.
Balance strategy and execution with an accountability partner: Stop fighting against yourself and follow through consistently by allowing someone to help you stay focused, prioritized, and accountable.
You do not have to sacrifice sustainability, or your sanity, to make an impact.
So many organizations have just accepted that, in order to get ahead and be successful, you and your staff need to be working constantly. I’m sure you’ve seen firsthand how overwork and burnout have become endemic in education and the social sector. But it doesn’t have to be that way! I can help you create new, more efficient systems and more sustainable expectations for staff. We’ll put the right people in the right seats so that your organization can achieve its vision without all the stress, overwork, or burnout.

I am an executive leader and certified Project Management Professional with a 15+ year track record working with mission-driven nonprofit, government, and for-profit organizations to change the way we work, shifting conversations from outputs to outcomes.
I focus on supporting leaders and their teams across education and the social sector in what happens after they have a strategic plan
— filling in strategy gaps, prioritizing big bets, defining roles and responsibilities, and monitoring progress. I help leaders advance key priorities and ensure organizational impact. Most importantly, I do this by supporting the people at the heart of the work.
We ensure team members know their role in the organization’s success, the plan to get there, and if the organization is on track to reach its goals.
